What do I need?
A Windows 10 or 11 PC that can run your games and record at 1080p, 30–60 fps, for an hour or more. A solid internet connection for uploading big video files. And you need to be 18 or older.
Who pays for the footage?
AI labs building models that learn how game worlds behave: how things move, collide, and react to a player. Highlight clips are too short and too cut up for that. They need long, continuous play, which is what you record.
What does the recorder capture?
The selected game window, rather than your whole desktop. The recorder logs keyboard keys, mouse buttons, and mouse movement while that game is in the foreground. Keys are saved by name, such as "W" or "SPACE"; a separate mapping can identify their game actions, such as "forward" or "jump". This includes keys that are not mapped to game actions, so avoid typing personal information in the game while recording. Input logging stops when you switch away; video pauses after about 2 seconds and resumes when you return.
Does the recorder touch my game?
No. It uses Windows' built-in window capture. It doesn't inject code into the game, read game memory, or change any game files.
Which games will I play?
Each session tells you which game to play. Right now that's open-world exploration, driving, shooters, third-person action, strategy, and multiplayer. Where we can, we match you with games you already play, but you should be up for titles you don't normally play.
How does pay work?
You're paid about $7 for each hour of approved recording, through the payout method you choose. Idle time and rejected sessions aren't paid. This is independent contractor work, not a salaried job.
